  Most recent use of Dave's was November 30, 2012. HISTORY: Dave's was a plumber used by the local Lowe's, and installed a dish washer for us a few years ago. The service was fine, so we kept his information for future use. Earlier this year, we needed a toilet stand pipe replaced, and were satisfied with the initial work (we delayed completion so we could replace the flooring in the bathroom). Dave's came back out to complete the work and finished that portion of the visit without any complaint; however, we also asked to have other plumbing projects completed during that visit. Herein is where the problems began. PROBLEM: We had a brand-new toilet installed, and it has since been leaking. Like the previous reviewer, I have called Dave's six times (first call was on 11/30/12 - the date of the installation) and never had contact with a human being; only an answering machine. I have also not received the common courtesy of any return calls. I WOULD NOT recommend this incompetent plumber to anyone for any kind of service. With this inability to successfully complete a simple task, like installing a brand-new toilet, there is ample evidence to question the minimum qualifications of the plumbers employed by this company, including the owner. The incompetence has been compounded by the complete disrespect and total lack of common courtesy displayed by a complete failure/refusal to make a simple return call to the customer. No return calls in my mind displays the total lack of quality manifest in this company, and is also a true reflection of the total lack of quality in the workmanship. The problem is endemic in this company - DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANY REASON. SOLUTION: In the last message I left (12/18/12 @ 4:30pm), I informed Dave that if I had not received a return call that same day, and they fixed the problem, I would hire another company to perform the needed repairs, and I would send a bill to Dave's. If (as expected) he refuses to pay the bill, then I will take him to court to recoup the repair expenses along with any associated court costs.
