We used Custom Comfort when our basement was flooding due to snow melting and tons of rain. They were one of 5 companies we called and they were the fastest ones to respond and come take a look (within 30 minutes of calling). A sump pump was broken and need to be replaced fast. PRO- this company responded quickly. Their tech, Karen was amazing. Very kind, explained things well and completed the repair quickly. She even came back the next day to complete parts of the job she couldn't on the first visit. PRO - friendly and professional employees. One thing to note is this company is EXPENSIVE. They purchased our pump at Ace, and we looked up the cost - $150. BUT We paid $607 total for the part and labor. This seems very high and we did ask other local plumbers what their costs would have been and they were much lower. That being said, we are grateful for their responsiveness and that they were able to solve our issue. Just be prepared to spend more than average for a sump pump repair. :)

These guys came out the day I called about a gas line leak behind my stove. Everyone else wanted to make an appointment for a couple days later. The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable I will definitely being using them on future jobs. First class service.

Our heating, cooling and plumbing is a product of Custom Comfort’s workmanship on our newly built home 5 years ago. There were many issues with all these areas that became evident early on. Plumbing leaks, pvc pipes not glued, heating/ cooling unit undersized for the size of the home. I agree with another review that the owner of this business is rude and unresponsive to own the shortcomings. The house we purchase was a spec home so we had no ability to know who was being employed as subcontractors. Now, 5 years later, as we move forward and want to add some upgrades to our home, we continue to discover Custom Comfort’s shoddy workmanship behind the walls. As we remove the prefab shower stall to replace it with tile the laziness of the plumber is evident. The bathroom vent has been run in an obviously lazy manner. The hot and cold pex lines not run properly. The shower valve has not been anchored. I can only imagine what lurks behind the walls in our home from Custom Comfort’s workmanship...more nightmares, I’m sure. I wish I could rate them in a negative manner...for that is what they deserve. This brings to question one other query...how does this pass inspection???
