  It's hard to say how much I appreciate this place. I was driving home after a working out of town (and trying to beat a blizzard) when my truck started lurching and the dashboard filled up with every light you never want to see. Fortunately the Covington VA exit was nearby and I limped of I-64 into the parking lot of a gas station/garage. The attendant told me there was nothing open and no car rental places. Then he told me "Farm and Fuel" used to be open 7 days a week and they had a garage. I called and the woman- Vickie- said yes, they were open 24/7. I said I might not make it there and did they have a tow truck. They didn't but she said she had numbers for a few and then she stayed on the phone until I got there. Who does that in this day and age? They couldn't fix the truck (it has some major issues which is painful as it has 50k miles and I paid it off less than a year ago) but they helped me find a tow truck to haul it the two hours home and they charged me next to nothing for the diagnostic. Long story short, Vickie helped me find a tow truck. I got home before the blizzard. We had a joyful family reunion. So if you're travelling and something goes sideways and you google where to get help for your car or truck in Covington I can attest, these are kind, honest people, and if you find yourself in trouble in Covington, I hope you have my good luck to roll in to Farm and Fuel.

  Great selection of hardware wether it's plumbing, electrical, quickrete, etc. If you need it they probably have it. Good prices on everything and very knowledgeable staff there to assist you. And they are open 24/7 The only place in the entire area except for a couple of gas stations that can say that. Overall ..., I wish I lived closer cause I'd more than likely be there every day. A+

  Alright ya'll, this place is open 24 hours a day! That is amazing to have in a small town like Covington. If you are like me, you do after work projects and realize you need a part, and everything is usually closed. Sure, they may not have every part in stock all the time, but they have an impressive array. Staff was friendly and helpful when I asked questions. I have seen other reviews saying negative things... it is a small town hardware store. It has its quarks but such a gem of a place for convenience. They allegedly have food too, I have not tried it. Also small engine repaired, and auto shop, those are not open 24 hours.
