We just availed an HVAC tune up last 9/7 and the guy who went in our home was Casey. He performed the said check up and did some repair on the leaking pipe (probably cause by the the winter storm that we had). Just as soon as the guy was about to finish his job, we heard some loud noises upstairs. When I checked on him I immediately saw a big crack on the ladder (a nasty one) and it seemed that he was trying to fix it. I’m just so disappointed and frustrated because its just a tune up that we called for and unfortunately it ended up with a damage in our attic ladder. The guy pointed out that its a faulty ladder but how come there’s a lot of service people who came in and used that ladder before, but only him that caused damage on it. We didn’t had any issues with the ladder ever since. Its still the original ladder and it was working absolutely fine until this he came. Secondly, if for him it looks like a faulty ladder, how come he didn’t mentioned it to us at the start of his job. He only told us about that when the damage was already done. I even asked him if he can report what happened to his company if they can offer some support but he told me that he is pretty sure that his company will not be liable for it. This is just very UNPROFESSIONAL. Now we even can’t climb the attic (we don’t trust it anymore) to check what he did. I would totally not recommend this company.

Will never trust this company. Their representative came out on a Saturday at very short notice, which was great! Our AC was running but wasn’t blowing cold air for about 12 hours or so overnight and into the morning. Marshall was here for about 30-40 minutes before he told me what the problem was according to his tests and checking the equipment, and removing the old AC filter. During this time the coil was still completely frozen solid and the pipes outside had only just started to melt from the frozen solid ice they had been a few hours previously. He told me our Freon was low- almost entirely out and we would need about 6 lbs of Freon to refill our 9 lb unit. Secondly he said he couldn’t find any leaks in the exterior and he suspected the coil was the source for the leak. In the end he suggested instead of spending $5,000 to replace our coil and wait 4 weeks for parts (that part I do believe!), he offered to replace our “old” 7 year old unit with a new one for $8,000. Lots of red flags to me. A family friend who owns an AC company came out the next day, looked at our equipment, filter, and ran some tests too. We lacked no Freon, the coil looked fine- and almost immediately after looking at the filter realized this was the problem- it was the original filter from when the house was flipped and was completely solid with plaster and construction debris. It’s been a week since changing the filter and nothing has gone wrong, the AC immediately worked fine.
