  Our well started acting up with low pressure and sediment. The first company I called came out and looked at the system and diagnosed that the pump was failing, and the control box for the 1.5HP motor had gone bad. They gave an estimate and went on their way. Needing a second opinion, we called Clays well service today 3/2/22, and a young man named Drew came. Drew looked at the system and concluded that the pump and motor were seized and would need replacement. My wife and I requested a cost breakdown for the job, because it is several thousand dollars worth of work. We received a phone call from Deb, who immediately began impatiently speaking with a rude tone. When asked for details about the price breakdown, we were told that Clays wasn’t interested in our business, and to go call another company, since we consulted someone else before. That is petty and childish.That is not customer service. We don’t just whip out our checkbook and start writing checks until we know what we are buying. Especially a significant investment such as a well. We need an apology, and to warn anyone else that this shouldn’t be tolerated.

  Your pump is on pipe in the well casing we cannot give you an exact price on wire we do not know where the pump is. It may be 300 or 500 feet down the well, we can't know until we pull the pump. It would've been rude for us to step on another companies' toes (and we both arrived at the same conclusion) and we did not charge you for the service call. Any "rude tone" was unintended and for that we apologize.

  Clay's removed and replaced our residential water well pump in about three hours. I appreciated watching their teamwork and efficiency. The guys are very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks.

  Clay's well service quickly respo dedicated to my need to compete the installation of our new yard hydrant. The technician who performed the work was very courteous and professional. He was able to remove the old hydrant and install the new hydrant in about an hour. I highly recommend Clay's Well Services if you need a hydrant replaced.
