  Mike was very good with a laundry list of work for me recently except to when he installed a new valve body and shower handle in my new shower in my basement. The valve body and shower handle is not centered in my brand new shower walls it’s offset almost two inches from center it’s not that he couldn’t center it, that’s what surprises me so much. He had really taken time to do everything perfect so why this happened I’m not sure , normally it’s been my experience to at least be consulted about something like this but I was not which is upsetting. Hopefully he will not take it upon himself in future with other customers. I would also like to say that mike is very professional and contacted me about my job and I would definitely recommend Putzig plumbing to anyone going forward.

  2nd time we have called them. their superior service on both visits was and is why we call them for all our plumbing needs. ( except, Like a clogged toilet. We can handle that). Courteous, timely, great communication. If you require a plumber, go with Putzig's, there's a reason their always busy, just sayin'!

  - Mike taught me a very important lesson; namely: Interview multiple contractors for any project you are planning. Do not waste your time by interviewing one at a time. Two weeks ago I contacted Chuck Putzig's Plumbing for an estimate for completing the finished plumbing in my new house. It took a week to get an appointment. After the estimate, it took a second week for Mike to make up his mind whether or not he wanted to do the job. Ultimately he decided not to do the job and recommended a 4-star plumber to do the work instead. (Chuck Putzig's Plumbing is rated 4.7.) My sense is that Mike was reluctant to do the work from the beginning. I just wish he had been more honest with me so that he would not have wasted my time!

  We are honest and upfront with all of our customers of our current timing for scheduling service work and estimates to allow the customer to decide if they would like to wait or not before we even proceed with writing up a service call. In this instance, an estimate was scheduled. After meeting you and seeing the scope of the job Mike discussed with you that he needed to speak with the city to verify if any of your past plumbing contractors had any permits open and that he would get back with you with his decision by that Friday and he did. Our apologies if you feel we wasted your time by not accepting the job.
