  I have a Home Warranty. My water heater started leaking so I filed a claim. The home warranty company sent Marcus from Chi-Tex Plumbing to come assess the problem. Marcus came timely as scheduled. I was pleasantly pleased when I met him. Marcus has a laid back polite and professional demeanor. When problems with your home arise that you are afraid they will cost a lot, you become stressed. Marcus diagnosed the problem and explained what would be involved in fixing it. My water heater would need to be replaced but moreover, the pipe supplying it was corroded and he would have to open the wall up to see how much pipe would need to be replaced. He calmed my fears and reassured me. He explained that he would document and photograph the problems and submit them to my home warranty company to see what they would and would not cover. I enjoyed his friendly way of making what to me was a large problem, seem small. He reassured me that I would have new water heater and running water as quickly as possible. He returned in a couple days with a beautiful new water heater. The corrosion in my wall was worse than we thought. He cut away sheet rock and found all of the bad pipe. He cut it away and began replacing old copper pipe with new PVC. The work was quite extensive. (See my pictures). Marcus’s PVC was a work of art. He had to cut a lot of pieces, make a lot of joints and glue them all up. When it was all said and done, I had a beautiful new water heater and no worries about future leaks in the future. I’m sure any good plumber could have done fixed my problem. What made my experience different was the out going professional personality of Marcus. He made a bad problem turn into a pleasant experience. There was a portion of the pipe work that my home warranty did not cover. I am a disabled/retired Police Officer. I live off of a small pension and Social Security. I did not have all the money needed to pay for my balance at that time. Marcus said “ no problem” and let me make some monthly payments. No paperwork. Just my word and a hand shake. Who does that anymore?…. Marcus at Chi-Tex plumbing did.

  The referral from a previous customer was spot on. Marcus was an excellent and well intended spirit during his visit. The work was excellent and timely. We may have spent more time talking than the actual work itself! 😀 The price was extremely reasonable and the work was quality. He's excellent to have in your while working through to get your issues resolved. I'll gladly recommend him over and again!

  I was assigned to Chi-Tex Plumbing through my home warranty company, Choice. I was given their contact information as well as an appointment window of 7-11a. I received a text when the tech was on his way and he arrived timely. Marcus was very professional and he came in ready to fix the problem. Diagnosed and fixed the issue rather quickly and efficiently. My toilet area was left nicely cleaned and the floor was free of any water.
