Everything works and they showed up on time.

If you finance you must pay at store due to 3rd party signature requirements mid-process. This isn’t their fault, but in our situation, through no fault of their own, this was an inconvenience for the items we financed.

When looking for a new chainsaw for a chainsaw mill I told them I wanted to use, the staff at Charlie’s was very knowledgeable and considerate when listening to my questions. Since buying the first 461 I have gotten several other Stihl and Milwaukee tools from them and have been thoroughly satisfied with their service, even to the point of them looking in the back for a part they normally didn’t stock(it is a smaller store) and getting a handful out for a roof repair I was doing.
Again very happy with the sales and service!

Brought my lawn mower in to get serviced. Cleaned up my lawn mower, gave it a tune up, and got it back to running like new!

Awesome service from Bill on Father's Day!!  The only place in the area that had the Traeger Pellet Grill that we wanted on hand.  Set it aside for us and helped us load it up!  Thanks so much for the great service!

So disappointed.  Took a blower/vacuum there to get warranty work done.  They would not certify warranty work stating repair was not covered..  They proceeded to charge me $29 to 'inspect' the tool.

Took it to a reputable place that certified break is a warranty issue.  I'll be getting my tool fixed.

This is not the first time I have had issues with Charlies service department.  Very disappointed and will definitely NEVER go back.

You may be better served going to a different service center.  Charlies Hardware service department will steal your money!

Their rental in small engine department leave something to be desired, miss lead on prices of rentals, and in the past have been missed lead on prices of repairs. I guess I wouldn’t mind shopping local if they were fair and honest hometown people, $40 for chair rental for one day and I go to turn them in and I have to pay $93, and they state there’s nothing they can do. I know 100% that there is something they can do because no computer generates a price they cannot change at a retail store

Great customer service.   Looking for chain saw and Ed was very knowledgeable.   Pricing was as good as box stores.   Supporting your local community is easy with Charlies.

I took my simplicity conquest 1694014 there last fall for a basic service on my 100hr since rebuild (change fluids, new spark plugs, lash valves, etc.) Machine was running perfectly when I brought it in... Ran like garbage once it warmed up when I got it back.  Needless to say I took it back...they adamantly denied that it was anything they did telling me my 6month old coils were bad.  Well the machine ended up parked for the winter because of that(due to lack of time and space to work on it which was why I took it to them in the first place)(normally it runs a 2stage blower in the winter).  When I finally got back to the machine today I changed the poorly gapped autolite plugs they put in (NOT what I told them I  wanted installed) with properly gapped champion RC12YC spark plugs that I SPECIFICALLY requested to be put in when they did the work and now it runs perfectly again. They also charged me for a transaxle fluid and filter change yeah no indications of them ever pulling the lower cover off to change the filter in fact the fluid smelled burnt and was discolored just like the fluid I asked them to change (I had been running the machine hard in tall grass and the fluid had gotten too hot due to towing a field mower thru tall field grasses as tall as the yard tractor (which is why I wanted the fluids and filters changed) and the filters still had my date markings in sharpie from the last time I changed the fluids after I paid for a fluid and filter change in the transaxle.
