Initial work on large job seemed ok. But they left a pipe unconnected and had to tear into our walls to replace. They did do the work to repair that. Also the following summer when we went to turn on our sprinkler system, as the sprinkler piping had been torn up to do the replacement of the plumbing, one section of the sprinkler system comes on with all other sections flooding the one area as a result. Called Carter about it and was told to call a sprinkler company this was not his fault. In other words, the system was always set up like this. 7 sections and one of them comes on with all the others. Sounds logical right? This means the system was not tested after being reconnected. So competence was not high on the list of this job that cost about 25,000.

So I had a pipe break right behind the meter. I dug the hole. Carter put in 7 inch PVC pipe to fix. Charged me 635 dollars. It took 2 guys 3 hours to do that and put in vacuum breakers, and attach faucet to house. So it took 2 guys 3 hours to patch some pvc, screw on to vacuum breakers on faucet, and drill 4 holes in brick. The vacuum breakers cost 6 dollars at home depot. He charged me 35 a piece. I kept asking how much and he would give me a straight answer for anything. Very deceptive business practice. Go to Frank's or scotco. Here is the invoice I got from him.

I have depended on Carter Plumbing for over ten years for all of my plumbing. They have done plumbing remodeling, replaced gas lines, made last minute repairs when selling our house, and many plumbing emergencies over the last decade. If you are looking for a reliable and reasonable plumbing company that you can trust, call my plumber.
