      Originally we found Robert to be prompt, responsive & competent when paying a sizable amount of money for a variety of work. We realized later that one of the toilets he had worked on was leaking. Ironically it was perfectly functional beforehand & we only needed a fuse holder reinstalled which we could have done as we had in the past but since he had been good about showing up previously & we’re limited on time, we decided to ask him to do that as well as have the valves & seal replaced as a maintenance task since we already wanted to do the same to another toilet. When I contacted Robert to make him aware of the leak, he was once again responsive & said he’d come the following morning. He said the leak was fixed but when I asked him to fill the toilet with water to verify, he spotted water still leaking from bowl. He determined that he originally installed a seal that was the wrong size but said he had the right part & could return the next morning at 8am. (While we appreciated the quick turn around, it would have been acceptable if he had communicated that it would be some time before he would return.) He also pointed out that as long as we didn’t use it or fill it with water, it wouldn’t leak... Because of my work activities it was important to know when he would be arriving & when he didn’t show, I sent a text message asking if I could get an eta with no response. 6 hours later I tried calling him & sent a text message asking if he was still coming after he didn’t answer. I needed to leave but didn’t dare in case he were to suddenly arrive. No response. Four days later, I sent another text asking when he’d be able to return to complete the job (already paid for) and return our gate key that we needed before the weekend. No response. Two days later I called and left a voicemail asking if he could communicate the current plan, again stating we needed our gate key before the weekend & that not hearing from him was putting me in a tough spot. No response. The next day I sent a text message, reiterating the above also stating that I totally understood if he had something come up or had another job to get to 1st but to please just share word of his intention. No response. Seven days later I called, didn’t get an answer & left a voicemail asking he call me back about our gate key. I also left a note on both past online reviews in case he lost our number & forgot where we were located. No response. Five days later I followed up with a phone call & left a voicemail letting him know we were mourning a sudden death in the family, as well as dealing with a separate fatal diagnosis & the last thing we need to worry about was a gate key that he said he could be trusted to bring back the following day, least of all the inconvenience it was causing. We requested he mail our gate key to us & provided our mailing address. No response. While we were originally happy, our confidence has shifted with regard to some of the other work done as well. It’s been two months since we were told he’d be back to make good on the job with zero word from him. At this point we will be pursuing reimbursement for work not corrected and the $50 cost to replace our gate key. We will assume the proper address for formal action is the one currently listed on the website unless we hear otherwise. Work integrity, communication & responsiveness is vital in our opinion. This isn’t how we personally do business or treat others. Our recommendation would be that if you use this business, thoroughly check that all jobs are in working order before making payment. If you don’t mind not having all work 100% complete or totally correct and being told they’ll return the next day & never hearing from them again, this might be a good fit! If you have any COVID protection concerns, also worth noting he did not wear a mask on any of his visits. We will not be contacting Robert with future needs and we won’t be able to refer him to all of our friends, family or neighbors, unfortunately.

      We’re very sorry to hear your expectations weren’t met. COVID-19 has placed constraints on our services, however, the owner lost 5 family members to covid 19. we are working hard to overcome these challenges. If you give us the chance, we’d love the opportunity to resolve this.

      I've been using plumbers off and on for a few years now never really clicked with any of them on price, punctuality, and service till I met Robert at Carson's. Blew me away with his professionalism and knowledge. It's hard to have confidence in anybody providing services like these because their are more con artists then honest people now a days unfortunately. Would recommend them %100, all day everyday
