  We started using Carolina Comfort, now known as Down East Heating & Cooling, back in May 2021. They had come to quote on a whole house generator, a mini split for our garage, and a service contract on the existing heat pump system. They were everything we hoped for when they first came. Scheduled appointments were kept. Jarid, who prepared our quotes, was knowledgeable, professional, personable, and insightful. Pricing offered was competitive. They were a few hiccups during installation, but the company stood behind their work and fixed everything that needed to be fixed. Today, they were here for a service call on our older heat pump unit. Once again, they showed up timely, according to what they told us, and completed repairs. The Tech, Charles, was awesome! I was concerned that when the company was sold the “family feel“ might disappear. However, there was nothing to worry about. I can easily say I’d recommend them.
