I discovered it on a casual drive. For county parks, this place is impressive. It's very clean, spread out even though it's not a large park. Bathroom and shower room looks spacious and very clean. Kudos to Calumet County employees!! I have already spread the word.

Nice county park! For the most part the sites a very large, and after walking the entire campground there isn't a site that is difficult to back into. If your trailer is crazy big some of the pads might not work. Also, they ask campers for $3 to dump. Understandable cause they have to pay to get pumped out. I just don't carry cash and really had to scrounge to get 3 bucks.

Easily one of our favorite county parks! Lots of camping sites but plenty of room to hike, 5 playgrounds for kids, little beach and lookout spot, loving views,, wood delivered to your site prior to arrival...pretty great 👍

So beautiful and well maintained! Make sure to take a look at the map though- the trails are not super well marked.

What a great place to hike.  Free admission, lots of well kept trails, lots of campers enjoying the woods and a few hills to climb. A great place to be outside!

Gorgeous gorgeous Park! Saw my very first bald eagle in my life and I am 51 years old and it landed right in our campsite ♥️ first time ever here and will definitely be coming back. Sunsets are AMAZING!!

Great campground! Clean bath house with flush toilets. New office with supplies and treats. No water hookups buts have 3 fill stations. No sewer but a dump station. Right on the lake. Hiking biking fishing. Fish tail inn right outside the park if you want a beer/burger. Nice boat landing too.

Beautiful park and campground and they are making improvements! Unfortunately for us other people were able to book our campsite before we could rebook for next year.

Fun place to go tubing!  Tubing hill is only open if there is enough snow.  Call before you go.  There is a tow rope that will take you to the top.  You can also walk up if you want a challenge.  There are no individual snow lanes just 2 two different sections of hill to speed down.  Purchase your tubing passes, snacks, and hot cocoa in the concession building.

The park is open for camping year round. Used to have sledding with tubes and tow rope in the winter. There are 6 playgrounds throughout with camping by water, or the woods. Electric and rustic sites. Site 69 is my all time favorite ;) Love the history of the Niagara Escarpment. Has its own weather system and a deep sacred native history. There’s great fishing, camping, and exploring.  Fasinating county and history of the people. Press release in June 2018. Details of discoveries as to the Paleo Natives mysterious disappearance. Thank CC I can't wait for the media attention for my academic research!
