  Unfortunately for myself I was desperate to have my kitchen sink leak fixed on a Saturday afternoon and because of that I believe I was taken advantage of. The plumbing company I normally use was unavailable so I called CalTek. When Jordan got to the house I was quoted $610 to replace the garbage disposal which included a $40 first time customer discount. It was not until after the work was done that I was told by multiple people that I was bamboozled with that price, so I started doing some research. The garbage disposal used can be found at Costco for $99. Now I understand that a Saturday last minute call may warrant an “emergency fee” however I now realize that $500 for labor is absolutely ridiculous. I called the company I normally use and asked them for an approximate charge to replace a disposal on a Saturday and they said $285 with the disposal included. I should have just ordered take out over the weekend and waited until Monday when my regular company was available. Shame on me. The only reason I gave two stars is because Jordan was polite and did a good job installing the disposal. It is very unfortunate to feel taken advantage of because I was unaware of the costs and desperate.

  Called CalTek plumbing just yesterday and got me in the next day. Rudy helped us out did a great job! He pin pointed out issue right away and fixed it quickly! He was very professional and polite ! Would most definitely recommend.

  I had a late night plumbing emergency. I put in a help request that night before bed and woke this am (well before Caltek’s office hours) to find an AM appointment offer. Rudy arrived in the early part of the 2 hour service window, assessed my problem and repaired it quickly and efficiently. He also offered a 30 day warranty on the work of a toilet valve replacement. I’m good to go and off to my regular work day without delay thanks to Caltek’s speedy response - they are my go to for future plumbing needs. I nightly recommend this business
