Thank you Wilson Plumbing for the outstanding workmanship and professionalism for totally replacing our 22 year-old Central Air Conditioning System. From start to finish each and every member of the Wilson team from the front desk, to the technicians exceeded our expectations, particularly considering the difficult nature of the job. Part of the job involved having to remove an old, rusted, rotted, huge and cumbersome piece of equipment which is located in our attic which must have been installed when the house was built and was so large and so heavy it had to literally be disassembled into manageable parts and carefully extracted by hand out of the attic. The extra time they took, not to mention their patience, to properly protect our floors with contractor tarps and other protections prevented all of the mess and debris from ruining out carpeting and custom tilework was time consuming for them but greatly appreciated by us as the homeowners. Next, equally amazing, was how they figured out a way to get the new (very heavy) replacement equipment back up into the attic. Again, all done very carefully for just the right fit. Then all of the custom pieces, ductwork, cooling lines, wiring, all had to be reconfigured, requiring experience and knowledge. The quality of the workmanship way simply outstanding, and the job was completed on-time and on-budget. We have always counted on Wilson Plumbing, for _decades_ now, for all of our plumbing, heating, and cooling needs. Considering the difficulty of the job, add to this all the Covid supply-chain issues. But here again, as always, the front desk woman somehow moved heaven and earth and within 3 days of our phone call the parts arrived, were installed and the job is done, flawlessly, and with pride. We can not possibly thank Wilson Pluming enough, the entire team from start to finish, and highly recommend them for your plumbing, heating, and cooling needs. Thank you Wilson Plumbing!

I felt the need to write this to warn people NOT to use Wilson Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning (aka C Leo Wilson Plumbing and Heating) of Ocean City, NJ. This warning is primarily for fireplace repair but after the rude response from the front desk woman and the refusal to back up their work, I would be hesitant to use them for anything. I have never written an online review before but after sharing this with others they convinced me I should review online, first, for the people out there that can’t afford to hire another company to repair the work of the first company and second, for other vacation home owners that are tired of being taken advantage of by contractors. This account starts 1 year ago when the fireplace in our vacation home wouldn’t light. I tried a company who specializes in fireplaces but they were booked for months. I then called around Ocean City NJ and found Wilson Plumbing whom said that they repair fireplaces. Ron from Wilson came to the house and said the pilot assembly had to be replaced but he had to order the part. He came back with the part in January 2019. We are rarely at the Ocean City house in the winter but the few times I was there after the “repair” I found that I had to flip the switch on for about 5 seconds, turn it off, then turn it back on for the fireplace to light. I have never owned a fireplace so I just assumed that was normal. I received a call from Wilson in the summer that the bill hadn’t been paid and we came to the conclusion that Wilson had mailed the bill to the Ocean City address rather than our home address and I had never received nor realized I hadn’t received the bill. I gave her my credit card number over the phone for the $592.69 bill ($360. for the pilot assembly and $208.84 for labor plus tax). I mentioned to the woman that the amount seemed high but also the fireplace still doesn’t seem to be lighting correctly and explained what happens. In her very abrupt fashion, she said that is normal and to just keep the switch up until it lights. In the fall when cool weather hit, I was in Ocean City and thought I would try her advice. I kept the switch up, but unfortunately there was a big flame which scared me to death and the pilot went out and I couldn’t light it again. This time I decided to call a professional. The new company I called came out and the first thing the man did was take a picture of the pilot assembly and send it to his boss because he said “he had never seen that before”! The pilot assembly was installed BACKWARDS which explained why gas had to build up before it would light. This man from the second company correctly installed the pilot assembly and it is now working perfectly. I called Wilson Plumbing to let them know since this was a big deal not to mention I had to pay $264 to have Wilson’s work corrected. The woman who answers the phone was very rude and said that it had been almost a year and they were not going to take any responsibility. I told her I had the picture the man had taken of the pilot assembly prior to repair so I sent it to her. I never heard back so I called about 10 days later. She just started flipping out saying that there is no way they did that and that Ron wouldn’t have done that, and that her boss was denying it also. I was never given an opportunity to talk with anyone beyond the front desk woman (who admitted she is a Wilson). I unfortunately raised my voice during the conversation (which I never do) out of pure frustration over her response to a situation where Wilson is 100% to blame. She was rude, loud and unprofessional and that is how this was left. Ron knows what truly happened the day he replaced and “repaired” the pilot light assembly so he should confess, but regardless Wilson should back up their work and have a professional working the phones that has common courtesy.

The plumber was experienced and respectful. The office person was rude and dismissive. The customer is not "always right" at Wilson per this woman who fields the concerns at this business. The poor owner, reading the other reviews tells me she is driving this place into the ground. Would not use them again because of her.
