Last year I Called these guys to fix a refrigerant leak in my ac unit outdoors. They came and Did the job but later that day, both mini splits were giving error codes. They said the main circuit board needed to be replaced. They came and tried to replace it but during the visit they said it was not the board but that the compressor is dead because it was filled when it was “bone dry”. (Why would your technicians do this?) At this point and time they quoted me $3300 to replace the compressor or $3100 to replace the entire outside unit. Didn’t have the cash so I waited til this year. Called a new company to look at it. They opened it up today and found my circuit board snapped with a half dozen wires cut. So my board that wasn’t broken is now useless and I have to replace it. Thanks Burke!

I do not know who replaced your control board we only gave you an estimate. The work we did was reclaimed old freon, tighten loose wires, nitro charged system, and nylon fittings and recharged. The second visit was that we believe you needed a control board replaced per the code. We sent you an estimate for the control board of $585.67 and did not hear back from you. We do not cause damage to people systems and have been around this area for over 18 years.

We had our central AC fail. The tech came and found the condenser fan not working. He replaced the capacitor, the fan started running and he left. I noticed the temperature in the house had only come down 1 degree after 30 minutes, it was 90 degrees outside. I went outside and found the fan was not running. I called the service, it was Friday, and the tech called me back. He said it was probably a bad fan motor but he couldn't look at it until the following Tuesday. He called me Tuesday afternoon and told me he couldn't find the same fan motor but there was one that ran at the same speed and it would cost about $250. I had already researched motors since my system was old and found OEM motors on Amazon for $120. I told him of the find and he said he would install it for $250. The motor arrived in 2 days since I paid $15 for expedited shipping. He installed the motor in approximately 30 minutes and charged me $250. Nothing changed, the fan and AC stopped after about 15 minutes. I called the tech and he told me he has no idea what is wrong with the AC, end of the conversation. That was it he never called again. So I am out almost $1,000 in the middle of the longest tropical heat wave in Massachusetts with no AC. The company advertises itself as a 24 hour service but all I saw was a more than 72 hour service and having a completely down system is not considered an emergency.

They came over to check To see what was wrong with our heating system. We don’t use a known brand and we were told that they couldn’t find any information online regarding that brand, which is false. Because when I look up online I see the suppliers that provide parts for this certain type of brand. The suppliers need an HVAC person to call them to order the correct part, at the end of the day they speak the same language. And so when we tried to call them or text them, no one is picking up their phones. It is so frustrating. Of course they charge $150 per person per hour and the check we gave to them was cashed the same day. They do not lose any time in cashing the checks but they do not spend any time with you to answer their phones.
