  I stayed at the motel for 13 days in May of 2019. First let me say that the staff here is excellent and does a great job with what they have to work with. The rooms are clean but it is not always easy to know this as the facility is very dated. My bath had not been updated in decades and it showed. Rust runs thick out of the faucets when you first turn them on. Rust in the sinks and discoloration of the grout between the tiles in the bath and on the floor. My bed was comfortable and I slept well. A couple of times during my stay their cleaning staff did not work so there was no cleaning of the room. It wasn't a big issue just odd. They offer coffee in the rooms but I had to remind them to replace the coffee a few times. My refrigerator had no control knob and froze anything I put in it. The microwave also did not work well. The price is very reasonable so if you are ok with it's short comings the price is right.

  Great view from room #38. Sheets and towels were clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable. Decent pillows. Plumbing is old, but clean and in good working order. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Cable TV and wifi which was nice after being on the road all day. Great ice machine beside the office, so you aren't disturbed by its noise. This is a motor inn, you park in front of your room. Only a few miles to jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a breath taking sunset. There is an awesome Mexican restaurant in town called Don Tequilas maybe 1.5 miles from the hotel. We would stay here again.

  Don't expect a Hilton, but you can't get much better for the price. The man behind the desk was very friendly, and I liked that they won't rent to locals because they use the hotel for parties (and I assume other activities). This showed me they are responsible owners and have pride in their motel. It's old... no doubt about it, and it could use improvements, but again... it's not a Hilton and it's not downtown Lexington. It was clean... that's whats most important, and personally I think the place had a warm, cozy, nostalgic feel. I slept like a baby. I would definitely stay here again.
