  The people at Brooks Plumbing and Heating have been taking care of my family for years, but in the recent work they did for me it became clear that they are saints. My boiler went out over two weeks ago, and they have moved heaven and earth to get my heat back on. They are SO busy with work, but they still took the time to inform me of progress in tracking down the parts needed for my job (not an easy task), and after several days of working, stayed until 8:00 tonight to get my heat up and running. I begged them to go home and eat dinner and come back the next day, but they kept working. Just the nicest people.

  If i could give zero stars i would. They over charged for hours and also for lunches when they weren't working. Billed us twice for items that we already paid for. When we brought it to their attention they said they would check with their guys and never heard anything back. Truly a sad way to do business. Update: After my review met with owners (Larry and Justin) and they fixed the double charges and credited back some hrs. And do want to give them credit on the grading work they did, it has held well even with all the rain we have had.

  First call, was told they don't work in Tennessee due to no one being able to deal with out of state taxes. Asked neighbors for recommendations and was told... THIS company. ??? Second call, reminded them they were plumbing a church a mile down the road... in Tennessee. Funny how the story changed! They said my job would be in line for mid-July, and since they were still working at this church a mile from me, would stop by at some point to see the job and give an estimate. It is July 25. No call, no visit, nothing. Luckily, I've found a plumber, but have to pay for travelling over an hour each way. TIP: if you're considering a career in plumbing, there's a HUGE opportunity in the Mountain City - Butler area. NO competition!
