I have had Blades come out 3 times to fix a clogged drain that is backing up into my basement they did great. On the last visit they said they needed to fix a major blockage and dig up sewer and replace some of it. I needed to have some money down no problem I called back a week later to let them know I was ready to have them come fix it. For the past 4 weeks I have called left multiple messages to have this issue fixed with no response. I am very patient but now I have sewage in my basement again no response!!! I have no hot water heater and haven’t for a month because of the sewage I need to replace it now because the sewage ruined it. The proper customer services skills they lack!!! Some sort of response would be nice! But I have had no response. That is just highly unprofessional in my opinion!

I had sewer back up into my basement. He came out on a Sunday. He Refused to charge me because was City’s drain broken in roadway. My drainage line was good. Came back daily to make sure my drain was clear until the City’s line was replaced. Great people and very professional.

Edit 2-Bob Blades fixed the issue we were having today and has offered to resolve the issue with the water heater as well. I appreciate the effort he has put in to resolve the issues. Edit-After seeing my review he has contacted us to apologize for any misunderstanding. I get it being a small business, you need good reviews and misunderstandings happen, but all these misunderstandings have made things much more difficult for my family. We do not have the means to pay for repair after repair after repair. After recently becoming a single mother to 3 young children, these issues worry me even more now. This year has been very difficult and emotions are very high for me right now, so maybe I have been harsher than needed in my original review, but I cannot let things like this slide, because it is my family who suffers for it. He has set up a time to come fix the heating issue for my mom, so I do appreciate his effort to resolve that issue, which is why I am changing my review slightly. As far as the water heater issue. It has been explained that it COULD have been a misunderstanding. I can see how it could have been and I will give him that, but the water heater is very difficult for me to light, so when I move back in, I am just hoping that I will be able to light it myself since it was my husband who always lit it before. Original review My mom had blades do her central heating and air within the last 5 years. The issue we have now, I do not believe is their fault, but we've called to have them come out and fix it, and they have yet to show up. We have a 3 month old baby in the house, in which we notified them of, so that they were aware of the importance of getting the issue resolved right away. We have now been waiting on someone to come fix it for 4 days now, and not a word from them since we called! It is currently 41 degrees outside and not much better inside. Another issue with them comes from when I bought my house 5 years ago. The water heater did not work properly and it was written into the purchase agreement, that money was assigned to have the water heater fixed or replaced before the purchase of the house was finalized. The previous owners called blades to do the work, in which he did NOTHING. Said the water heater was fine. The purchase went through and we moved in only to find that he had not fixed the water heater and we have to relight it at least twice a week because it won't stay lit.
