  We always have a good experience with Black Bear. Their technicians, plumbers, office staff etc are very knowledgeable. They have helped us understand any issues with our furnace and water tank, have installed a wireless thermostat, new venting, and for about 5 years have been doing the yearly tune up. The office staff is very helpful and make every effort to help resolve issues or answer questions.

  These folks always deliver top quality. Pleasant folks in the office, and knowledgable techs in the field. They're also on top of my fuel delivery needs. They just serviced my generator after installing it a bit over a year ago. Glad to have them to depend on.

  We called Black Bear’s after hours service for an issue that transpired at one of my rentals. My tenant, who has allergies, smelled a chemical Oder and was worried. Although Doug was already out after hours with another no heat problem, he called me back immediately to let me know he would be there. He was able to get there by 8:30, and was done by 9:30. The expansion tank on top of the boiler and the pressure value below it needed replacement. The Oder was antifreeze, but toxic for my tenant. Doug advised my tenant on how to eliminate the Oder before leaving. Doug is a “top notch” technician and we always appreciate having him perform our services.
