Saturday, March 19th, I discovered my downstairs bathroom had flooded. I called Bill, and he came to my home shortly after he finished another job…I would say within the hour. He got to work and quickly figured out the problem, and took care of it. Bill is very professional; he told me the cost breakdown on the phone, explained in detail what he found and how he took care of it (roots), and gave me a heads up about other things he noticed that I may need to rectify in the near future. He’s awesome! PS I greatly enjoyed reading reviews on Bill, and appreciate how he responded to negative ones. He’s feisty and straight forward. I appreciate that. And am grateful he could make it to my home in such a timely manner. Thank you, Bill!

We were out of hot water for two days waiting for other plumbers to show up if they could work it in. Called Bill’s at 8:30 am and they said they could be here about 1:00 and possibly sooner and they would call when they were ready to arrive. They called at 10:00 am and said they were on their way. The plumber arrived in 10 minutes and the work was done within 20 minutes. The plumber was very knowledgeable and thorough, explaining everything completely. Best plumber I have ever seen.

I don’t know how this company has any good reviews. We had an old crystal style faucet handle break in half and I wanted a new handle put on. I specifically asked when I scheduled if I should buy a new handle and was told, no, Bill will install one he has or will purchase one for us that will work. When he arrived he said he didn’t know what was wrong. He could cut open our wall and investigate or he recommended we take a photo and go to his sisters store so she could pick us out a new handle and we could see if he would be able to install it. Very different options. My husband glued the old handle back together and with no plumbing experience was able to put it back in place to get us by. Now we have a new plumber coming out to replace our very standard and simple faucet handle. Also be prepared to wait for this guy. I was scheduled to be the 2nd MORNING job and called after 1:00 when hadn’t heard anything and was told I just needed to wait at home until he called but they had no idea when that would be. So my appointment was between 9am and 5 pm and nothing was fixed.

    Response from the owner

Well this is one of those people no matter what you do you cannot make happy I found. **WE DIDN’T EVEN CHARGE THEM ** when I gave free advice and left, her husband seemed grateful and happy. To my absolute surprise she was not. She wasn’t even at the property! Fact- we scheduled her for 9am and that we would call at that time and send “Bill” Me over. And Ronnie did just that. As for the broken handle my secretary tried her best to explain all handles are different, we understood she wanted to go buy her own and Ronnie exactly said “that’s fine only if it is a match and fits” but wasn’t heard. When I arrived I said “hello I’m Bill I understand you have a broken tub faucet handle” I knew exactly what the issue was. Her husband took my me into the bathroom and I inspected the faucet to find it is an “off brand” meaning it’s something not common and possibly not available due to it may be something Home Depot once carried and no longer does or it some odd faucet and Karen at Thomas Plumbing is an expert in finding these handles at their retail store. I explained this to her husband to take a picture of the faucet and show Karen at Thomas. This would save him quite a bit of money he agreed and it actually seemed he was appreciative of the advice. Especially since it clearly isn’t a typical Moen, Delta or Kohler or anything I recognized (30 years plumbing service) . Then I explained the other option “we would need to cut into the back wall to replace the faucet completely and I felt that a bit of investigation on his part at Thomas might save quite a bit of money if Thomas actually has the part, he agreed. I felt he seemed to want to and be more than capable of using a Phillips screwdriver to attach a handle and didn’t need me. Therefore I said “ don’t worry I’m not charging for today this is free advice” he smiled I said have a great day. All seemed completely great. Then his wife came home to find I didn’t “fix” the faucet. WOW to my complete surprise to find this review and to not even charge them for showing up and giving free advice. How absolutely rude and unpleasant I found her to be. But I gotta say she was not present when I arrived and her husband seemed like a great guy! I would have been more than happy to spend time researching this faucet and finding out the brand but at a Master Plumbers cost. It may have taken time and that time is completely billable. And then this review may look different because I charged for investigating and driving around for a faucet handle that may or may not even be manufactured due to a cheap faucet that had been put in years ago. Either way I don’t believe I could have done anything to make her happy. But remember I didn’t charge her! Lol Yes for other plumbers call me I’ll let you know who she is Stay clear!
