  This BBB branch and team has been nothing but fantastic, supportive, and responsive on all ends. The general public likes to leave bad reviews when something doesn't go their way, but the team here is a group of people that you can actually pick up the phone and talk to, who are also local, and they can help you in a real way. BBB is as fair as it gets for both consumers and businesses, and they do their due diligence on both sides of the problem in an effort to provide dispute resolution and accountability on both sides, and in the name of actually protecting people and resolving problems. It’s almost impossible to find other organizations or online review websites and directories that you can actually talk to and who holds everyone accountable, including themselves. Honestly, it's very refreshing working with the BBB because they do it in such a real, and human way.

  The BBB has created an online public profile without a subscription to their website and organization and without our consent. First, they used bully tactics to get us to subscribe stating our rating would increase if we subscribed to BBB. We asked that we be removed after the agency posted personal information about myself and my personal residence address. They refused and said: '"The BBB will not be removing US Title Records from our national database as the company receives inquiries daily about the company." Furthermore, after being told they were going to transfer the file to Arizona (again, without our consent) the file remained with this office. We then discovered out that our positive reviews from our clients had been removed and only the complaints (all of which were resolved) remained for some reason. After several attempts to contact Tammy Jeandell, we received no response whatsoever. Due to the incredibly frustrating issues in dealing with the Delaware BBB, we would like our public company profile and private information removed from their database immediately. We have had a handful of complaints, all of which were resolved in nearly a decade of doing business. It appears that they are trying to bully us into being members or have some other unsavory agenda. This is not right. Please assist us, Anthony

  Even though a company isn’t a dues paying member of the BBB it is given an “A” rating. So why join and pay dues? I looked to the BBB for comments on a company. Yes, it was stated, in small print, that the company was not a member but was still highly rated. Basted on the rating, I hired the company and am now trying to get my money back. Not going to happen. If my attorney takes this to court, I am going to ask the BBB to stand behind their rating.

  BBB ratings are based on factors including proper licensing, ownership transparency, and how a business responds to complaints. Ratings are completely separate from Accreditation, the process by which a business commits to upholding standards of ethics, pays dues, and goes through a more thorough vetting process. Many, many businesses earn very high ratings without ever becoming Accredited - for us to only give high ratings to businesses that pay would be unethical and inappropriate. If you've had a bad experience with any business, we encourage you to file a complaint against them at bbb.org. Complaints and how a business deals with them is one of the factors that helps us with our business ratings.
