I've used Joe and Danny the brothers who are plumbers to repair my slab leak on a drain under my house. The whole process was relatively clean and painless. They helped originally about 10 years ago when we first moved in with a new sink faucet

Truly a family business, in February we had a burst pipe. We worked with the master plumbers brother, owners son, the widow of Bernard, his daughter in law, they all had a part in communication, coordination with the city and the actual plumbing repair, I will use again

Local brothers: Danny and Joe are our go-to plumbers. We have called them out 3 different times and each time they came out quickly, did the job we described, took care of the problem, and gave us a quote up front with no surprises. These guys saved us when we were moving out of our house and a washer hose burst. Joe recently installed our kitchen disposal quickly, effectively, and gave us practical tips to keep our pipes clean. These guys are friendly, helpful, and we are grateful for our local plumbing service.

Ill say this, danny was very quick to respond. Now i dont know if there was something lost during communication, but i was not able to agree upon the work needed, and did not receive the service i was looking for.

In the process of selling my home, a leak in my drain line was discovered in a hydrostatic test. I had a couple of days to get this fixed before the closing date. I was needing someone to come out and locate where the leak was. Nothing more than that. My realtor had called on my behalf to schedule a time to come by while i was working.

Danny came by and explained their process and what all was included in their services, which was good to know. We were going to be in need of the actual repair work done. He immediately dropped the number of their leak detection and repair being $7500. This started my worry seeing as how that was a pretty outlandish estimate, even from a stand point of plumbers having the tunnel under a slab.

I said ok, well how much is it to locate the leak? That was included with the $7500, which is pretty standard for a plumbing service. I was getting more suspicious since thats the service i actually was wanting at the moment, and the cost wasnt being disclosed to me. A few minutes later, he came back to the door and said he could have an excavator in the back yard in a couple of hours to start digging! I said hold up, were just locating the leak, and then if i decide to go with bernards, we can bundle that into the final bill.

Now im no plumber, but he started to say the drain line cameras are a useful asset, but theyre not a fool proof way of finding a leak. He stated that my clean out was not all that he needed even to do a camera. He was going to have to dig up the yard to install what he needed, and since it was dug up, identify the leak by digging it up.

Couple of last minute calls later scrambling to find someone that couple squeeze us in nearing the end of the plumber work day, and we got a camera put down there using the port he was claiming to need, and the line break was found. Now my closing date had to be extended since it was the end of the day, and i would not be able to schedule a licensed plumber to come out and do the repair work. My foundation company was already lined up to do the digging, we just needed to be able to tell them where.

Matt, I have tried several times to contact you about your review. We provided a same day free estimate for the work you needed done. I apologize about any miscommunication, but we don't locate leaks for other plumbing companies for a multitude of reasons. Please call me to discuss or please remove this review. We are a small local family business that this negative review affects forever on the internet.

We had a sewer odor in bath room. Contacted Bernard’s. We were told prior to testing what the problem possibly could be. Testing confirmed what we were told. Within just over an hour the tunneling crew arrived. We had a sewer line leak. Our house is 60 years old and is now performing like new!!

Highly recommended! Called Bernard's in the morning because of an old leaking water heater. They were here by noon and replaced my attic water heater in a few hours! Thanks!

I had called to get a quote to have a gas line installed. Was told they would be out today. Nobody showed up and at 5pm I called to check and was told “well they don’t work 9-5 jobs”. 4 almost 5 hours later no one had shown up still and no phone call. Very unprofessional.

Faucet pipe burst during the winter storm and they responded within 12 hours and capped it off, allowing us to use the rest of the house. Friendly and professional.

Called Bernard’s in the morning and they were to my house by noon. They fixed a pipe within the wall. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

This place wanted my company to pay $5,000 before they even go on site to assess the situation.  This place is not honest. Very unprofessional.  This place has no integrity.   Run away from this company.  DO NOT USE!

Jeremy we are a small local family business who has never done any work for your nationwide company. During the freeze of 2021 we required all new customers to pay a retainer. The location you needed service was a building with over 30 foot high ceilings and over 10,000 square feet. You were NOT onsite and had no idea where the flood was coming from. We had multiple families without water or heat and could not provide you service without a retainer from y'all. We explained when we could provide you a free estimate and you chose instead to write a negative review that will affect my family for eternity on the internet. Please consider calling us back to talk it over, or just delete the review.
