  I had a service plan that checked my furnace once a year and my air-conditioning once a year. Last spring when they were her for service, I was offered a $19.95 Water Heater flush. I suggested dumping the water out the window. He said the tub would be fine. A day or so later, I filled the tub for a bath. When I tried to empty the bath, the stopper would not work. At that time, I made the bad decision to have the stopper fixed next time I had a service done. Long distance service is expensive, so I tried to ask for a combined call for your benefit, not mine. That didn't work. Now that I am trying to get the stopper fixed, you are telling me that the rubber seal is warped. News to me. I had never had a problem with the tub stopper. All in all, I have been on your Direct Energy plan for many years, and now you can't fix a problem that your technician created. Be assured, I will share this with everyone I know.   I never actually had any plumbing service done; however, I talked to three different individuals who gave me widely varying prices. The first one told me there would be a basic service charge of $89. The second one told me the service charge would be $129.00. After I told this individual I thought I would seek another company -- she told me that they would not charge me any service fee. I said ok & we set up an appointment for the next day. The next day, another person told me that they absolutely would not drop the service charge. I decided that this was NOT a company I wanted to do business with.
