I called BCI Plumbing on 12/20/21 requesting drain cleaning service. I told BCI that I was a new customer. I asked about their pricing for this service and the office person only mentioned $95. The plumbers arrived later that day and finished within 40 minutes after arriving. They only needed to auger the line a distance of less than 5 feet back towards the house. The rest of their time …approximately 20 minutes…the plumbers reviewed some things in my house that I asked them to quote for a future service trip. When they were ready to wrap up and leave, I was shocked when they presented charges of $307 for their visit. Although I was provided a discount of $31 which lowered the price to $276, I had no idea from anyone at this company that this would be the charge for only 20 minutes of actual work. The plumbers provided no explanation (and no receipt/invoice), but I paid them anyway and they left. I called the BCI office the next morning and asked how the price went from $95 to the $276.I also asked for a detailed invoice so I could better understand their pricing. The person who I talked with on the phone told me that the plumbers were supposed to go over pricing before they did any work to make sure that I agreed. I told her they did not and that I would not have agreed to such an absurd price if I had known in advance. A simple apology on the phone by at this time might have resolved the whole issue, but I did not receive one. Later that day I was emailed an invoice showing a “Quick Fix Charge” of $307 less the $31 discount. I guess this was the “detailed” explanation of charges that I asked for? I already knew it was a “quick fix” by the plumbers so the invoice was pretty useless. BCI missed several opportunities to set things right with me like a truly professional company would have done. In the future I will call a company that will thoroughly explain pricing in advance of the work and follow up with the customer if he is not satisfied (like me). BCI was evasive at best and disappointing without a doubt.

We had two water heaters in our house replaced by BCI. They were easy to schedule with, prompt with appointments, and super efficient during installation. The technician explained all the technical details well and left an immaculate work area. I would definitely recommend them.

The Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful when I called to schedule plumbing service. Dwayne provided repairs to both bathroom toilets. He was prompt in arriving and let me know in advance what time he would be here. He was very efficient, professional, and courteous. He was able to diagnose the problem and resolve it within 30 minutes. I appreciate Dwayne and BCI for all they do.
