  I love this place. Ancient building, cool old sales counter, nice loading dock right there to get what you need loaded. Only issue I have with them is the music is too loud sometimes and also it might take quite a long time to get service, which is always excellent and professional. You have to know what you need though, and ask for the right thing.

  Had a problem with a very leaky shower. So after doing some research, I discovered the shower spindle needed replacing. No problem I thought. I looked online and found that Home Depot had the part, in stock, for $45. Went there and there were none to be found. The nice employee at Home Depot recommended Baystate Plumbing. So I called up and spoke to their parts guy. He said he had the part and when I asked how much (figuring it couldn’t be much more than the price gouging at Home Depot) the guy asked my name. I told him and he said he’d put it aside for me. Well then I got diverted and my wife volunteered to go get it. I think she needed me to get the water running again soon. So she returns with the part a short time later and tells me that the part was $70.95! Are you kidding me???? $25+ more than Home Depot!!! That’s crazy!!!! I not a huge fan of Home Depot but I will never go to Baystate Plumbing if they’re prices are that over the top. P.S. I looked on Amazon and the same part was selling for $39.95. If I could have waited until 6/22 I would have bought it online. P.S.S. Only reason I didn’t give it 1 star was because the parts guy seemed very nice on the phone.
