  I had a procedure 12-30-21 for biopsy of throat and stomach and stretch my throat. The out patient staff were friendly and professional. I've had this procedure done a few times before and have always been pleased with my stay. Bacon county hospital is the best and I give it a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  STILL WAITING AFTER MORE THAN 10 TIMES TRING TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE, LEFT MSSGS, VOICEMAILS ETC ETC AND NO ONE CAN BE BOTHERED TO REACH OUT TO ME. !!!!I recently had cataract surgery and had already paid for the surgeon etc. I have now received what I consider an astronomical invoice from the hospital. I have tried and tried, more than 5 times to speak to someone, left messages, spoke with admin who sent an email to a supervisor to no avail. Not one person has had the professionalism or care to get back to me, despite me letting them know I am a senior citizen on limited income. The charges are far far too high, nearly $2000 for the anesthesia when I was not even knocked out. My rotator cuff surgery at the Bone and Joint was no where near that. !!Totally of the chart charges. The billing service is non existent if you need help but I bet they are on to me as soon as they realize this bill has not been paid. I will not rate this hospital in terms of its admin but its nursing staff were lovely.

  Brought my wife up there after having a allergic reaction to a newly prescribed medication. She told them she is feeling lucid and arm going numb, they sat her in the waiting room and had to wait and wait. They didn't even check her vitals. Went down the road to Mayo and they took her right in.
