  Not good!! My cousin’s husband and I told my cousin that Babineaux’s plumbing was the best. Never again! Screwed both of us. Went up the pipe to unclog a toilet. The house was built in 1975, so it was cast iron pipe. Babineaux’s said that they were hitting a solid object and said that the pipe probably collapsed. I asked if they could send a camera up the pipe. The guy said “ you can, but won’t be able to see cause it’s dark”. This cost me $900 . I called someone who had a camera ( that could be used in the dark 🙄). Went up the pipe and cleared the clog that was never cleared. Being cast iron, the pipe was scaly. They let me watch as the camera was moved. The pipe was cleaned out. A couple of spots of the cast iron pipe were corroded. This company put a liner in the pipe, a liner with epoxy that expanded coating the pipe. All is great. Better than breaking the house slab and outside porch cement. Was expensive at $5900 but is fixed. Sure could have put that $900 to that bill. Sickening! On my cousins house, they cut 3 holes in her Sheetrock. ( Closet carpet which is at the front of her slab- was wet)- These people rerouted all of her plumbing through the attic. Then found out that it was the main line manifold against the front of the slab, leaking. So all of this was unnecessary. Charged her $2300 I rest my case!!!!!   DO NOT USE BABINEAUX PLUMBING in New Iberia👎! Had BABINEAUX plumbing come out 3 weeks ago and they charged me $130 just to come out. They were at my house for 10 minutes max and now problem is back, so they basically plunged the toilet and left. They also charged an additional fuel fee of $15 that was not disclosed when making the appointment. $15 in fuel can take me back and forth to Baton Rouge and probably more and I live 10 minutes down the road😡. Damn shame people rip people off and don’t fix the problem. To them I guess I would need to call a plumber every 3 weeks. So they told me it would be another $145 to come again, plus any equipment or supply cost. I will not use their services or recommend to anyone.😤

  Called Babineaux's a few days ago to come to my home and do a simple job. They told us they couldn't get to us till the end of the week. So I called back today to make sure they would still he able to come. The rude woman that answed the phone had the nerve to tell me if we couldn't wait till next week call someone else.
