  Very quick response to an emergency job. But they charged my client almost $700 to replace a 1" copper tee, even though we already had the pipe dug up and easily accessible. I would have never recommended them to my client had I known they would charge so much!

  Very nice people, who came in a very timely manner. In fact, I called around 9am and they had the repair done by noon. The cost was less than others I had called.

  Calling B&D was easy, and they set up a diagnostic quickly. The two guys who di the diagnostic were kind and courteous. Kudos to Robbie and Archie for being on time, plus they were understanding and patient, while explaining things very well. However, on the day they were supposed to install the new heater, the plumber that came, whom I never got an invoice from and therefor dont have his name, called me late to the appointment and answered the phone with, "Are you going to open the garage or what?" I said, "Excuse me? Who is this?" because i had no idea who it was, because he decided not to introduce himself. Then when he looked at the old water heater, he said the new one was shorter, so he was going to have to break the waterproof seal on the roof for the gas exhaust flashing. I asked if he would seal it again and he said I needed to call a roofer to do that. I called his supervisor, Byron. Byron was just as rude and said there was nothing they could do. I said you are plumbers and you cant extend the exhaust inside? he said no, call a roofer. I said it was raining so lets postpone until it was dry. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Who knew you had to have roofers on standby to get plumbing done. Two days later a new guy, named Kevin, came over to install the heater. Kevin took a look and said he could easily extend the exhaust. Kevin was also very polite like Robbie and Archie, and he replaced the water heater quickly, and surprise surprise, he didnt need to break the seal on the roof at all. So to conclude the review, if the right plumber comes over and you dont need to speak to Byron, theres no need to call a ROOFER.
