  Doug Aven is a master craftsman who is very good at communicating and working with you. I visited his showroom to see the current works in progress, and we discussed at length the pose for my deer. He even came over to my house to Cape it out and show me how to do it on the future. Very helpful fellow, and cheerful! He's a DNR partner taxidermy meaning that if you take your trophy on a CWD positive zone, he will assist by providing the neurological requirements from your deer to the DNR for you.
