I have been to this ER numerous times since it opened. Either as a patient or with family or friends. I've been treated for food poisoning, concussion, trauma, and most recently 4/16/22, a ruptured disc that left me unable to walk and at a level 10 pain. (I joke they should have a room with my name on it LOL) Everyone was amazing. When I left the pain was tolerable, I had clear instructions on what to do next, how to take the meds proscribed. They consulted with my neurosurgeon's on call. Because of where the pain was most intense they did not just assume it was my spine because of my history and checked my kidney values as well. My best freind died in the ER after an 8 year battle with cancer. She had been there several times as it worsened and we needed help. The staff was so caring and compassionate. We knew when we called the ambulance she was not coming home. They honored her wishes to the letter. And let us sit in a private waiting room until we were ready to leave. Never rushing us, checking in to make sure we didn't need anything. Helping with phone calls and all the aftercare details that had to be handled right away. My grandson swallowed a round battery at 2 years of age to be Ironman, that was one trip. All visits except one I can honestly say the staff from reception, triage, nursing, radiology, lab, and Drs has been compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and wait times reasonable. (The one exception was how a Dr presented CT findings to my friend, he's no longer there). They have a lot of capabilities at this hospital and access to state of the art technology whether there or transferring. I cannot remember everyone's name but Dr. Blackmon was on last night. He listens, answers questions, doesn't rush you, he explains the whats and whys clearly, making you a partner in your care. The LPN was so good! She listened when I said I am a hard stick and where it is usually successful getting an IV catheter in, assisted getting me into a gown and then dressed again, instead of tossing it at me and saying change (which happens at other places) when I clearly needed help. Radiology tech was very patient and helpful getting me into and out of CT. I really appreciated that he asked me how he could assist me instead of just grabbing and pulling! When you have a medical emergency remember the staff is trying to help you. Listen, be polite, follow their procedures. If you object to them just tell them but don't berate the staff that is following procedures they did not put in place. After your visit contact the hospital administrators and tell them about it! Don't get upset when someone is taken in before you, you don't know why they're there not all things are obvious. All ERs triage, meaning everyone is seen based on the serverity of the symptoms. Your broken arm is not going before cardiac arrest symptoms no matter how long you've been waiting. You have no idea what other patients are there for and what other patients your nurse is responsible for, so assume that the reason they have not returned yet is because they're dealing with someone more critical than you. Be patient waiting for lab and x-ray results. It is not instant. Some lab work takes longer to do, there may be a lot ahead of yours, and the doctor has to review it when s/he is able to. This isn't TV they cannot diagnose, treat, and cure in a an hour! The ER's job is to stabilize you not to cure you. Referrals to your regular doctor or a specialist after your immediate needs are addressed is standard procedure. Say please and thank you! It goes a lot further than swearing at people. I've seen bad care, burned out staff, incompetent staff... But not at Atrium Health Navicent Peach! Thank you Dr.Blackmon and staff!

My daughter was seen for abdominal pain and swelling underneath her left rib we sat in the emergency room for 4 1/2 hours we got there at 7 o'clock we didn't leave until 3 o'clock in the morning when I asked the nurses at the station that check you in if something happens to my daughter here in the waiting room like if it's a spleen issue or an appendix issue what can they do or if they told me that they don't do surgery at that hospital!!! so she would have to be medevac out I suggest if you have serious issue not going here you will be sitting for awhile on top of that the nurse that came to get her to bring her back didn't help me at all I had to grab all of our items usually if someone is in a wheel chair they will help push them back and the nurse didn't do anything just watched me try to grab all out stuff and push her back myself because it's cold in there with the double doors opening from people going in and out . They didn't prescribe anything didn't help with her pain gave her nothing . The people that work here are rude and unsympathetic my child is 15 I will not take her back there or we will not go back agian.

I had a great experience! The receptionist in the front desk was nice, took her time to help me and get me to the right place. I didn't wait long to get my x-rays done, the technicians were also nice and patient with me, since I do suffer from anxiety. 🙏
