Atlas showed up when we had a clogged drain. The technician ran the snake into the pipe for quite some time and, frankly, made quite a mess in our basement. He didn’t bring his own bucket so I supplied one, which I had to throw out afterwards. But the real problem was he told me the drain was cleared and that he had encountered root material in the line and would I like to pay an additional fee to have a chemical inserted to make sure that never happened again. I paid. About 30 days later the same line was clogged so Atlas hadn’t really fixed anything, and this time we ended up digging the pipe up and there was clearly no root material in that line. That was a lie. The worst part about it is I gave the guy a $40 tip when basically he didn’t do anything at all.
