  This review is only my opinion based on the interactions I have had with Athens Handy Man. These guys did us pretty bad. They did one out two scheduled projects, on Friday they got paid for the first project and did not come back to finish the second project that was supposed to start on Monday. Even though the first project had to be redone because they did such a bad job the first time. We were very patient and waited almost 2 months for them to finish the first job to our satisfaction. This is when I was told we were difficult to please and they weren’t sure they were going to ever make us happy. With that they just didn’t show back up to do the second project after Getting paid for the first. I would also recommend that if possible if you’re getting them to give you an estimate asked the owner to bring his brother with him. The owner does the estimates and the brother does the work and the brother is very “sensitive” I guess is the word that I would use. He does not like his work questioned and gets upset real easy if you do that. My suggestion to you would be if you’re difficult to please or expect quality work for a premium price you might want to look for someone else! Just my opinion! The sad thing is when the owner came to collect the check for the first project he wasn’t even going to tell me they weren’t going to show up on Monday for the second project even though they were supposed to, I had to ask him. please see the pictures to see how they left me. At their price it is my opinion you can do better and not have to deal with the family drama that they have. Again only my opinion.

  We used Athens Handyman for several projects at our home. The first couple of projects were very satisfactory. We had concrete poured for a covered patio area. The concrete work was satisfactory but the contractor that was hired to do the work was very disrespectful. We then had a area that was to have crush and run at the back of the privacy fence that was to serve as a dog run. They put in landscaping edging to pour the fill material. We were told that they would wait until the ground was froze to complete the job. In January, Mike came by to pick up a check for the work that had been done to that point with the excuse that he was closing out his books for 2018 and it would help with his bookkeeping. We paid for the materials and man power used to that date. We had a bid on a couple of other projects to also be completed. After the check was written he nor any of his employees ever came back to finish the work that was started. I now have metal edging around my dogs enclosure which makes it difficult to mow plus the gate doesnt swing in because of the edging and there was never any fill put in, so therefore the work on that project I paid for is useless. I had a good working relationship with this contractor till then but now will not recommend his business.

  Great work! Did exactly what was priced. No "surprise" charges after job completion. Thinks outside the box for savings without sacrificing quality.
