Bought our heating system from AYS about 7 years ago and was very happy with the installation and service at that time. Had put off having a maintenance plan but decided it was time. Our tech was Daniel and he was great! He explained the system and what was done both inside and out, and he also answered some of the questions we had about the system. Daniel made a few recommendations and was very thorough. Daniel was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We hope to have Daniel again for our Fall maintenance check.

Mike was amazing!! He was prompt (early in fact with my approval), really efficient with his time and work. He made very thoughtful recommendations for specific needs in my home and carefully planned out what needed to be done to make my system its most energy efficient version. I am so glad I chose this company to service my home and HIGHLY recommend them and specifically Mike to come work on your home. The company is very professional to deal with and are quick to come out if there is a problem. They are really friendly and don’t try to “upsell” you on things you don’t need. If you are on the fence at all, don’t hesitate and just jump!!

ISSUE NOT RESOLVED BUT VERY PROFESSIONAL: My thermostat went blank and the heat went off in my new construction Ryan home that will be 5 years old in April 2022. Mike came out on 1/11/22 and was very courteous and professional. He discovered a blown fuse and changed it but it quickly blew again. He continued to troubleshoot and was able to get the heat up and running before leaving. UNFORTUNATELY, the solution was short lived (3 days). Today is 1/15/22 and the thermostat is blank and heat is off. I’ve emailed AYS…. I will come back to update this review following a response from AYS in hopes that it can be helpful to others. UPDATE: 1/17/22, another technician, Seth, came out. This time I was told that it wasn’t a blown fuse but possibly a faulty thermostat and a refrigerant leak. However, this cannot be confirmed until the Spring when temps are warmer. One week, two visits, and $287 later with no definitive diagnosis and solution. At least the heat is back on (for now). I had no idea that HVAC issues could be so difficult to pinpoint and resolve (I have a heat pump, electric system). UPDATE: 1/22/22, I woke up at 6:00am and the thermostat was blank and the heat was out again. At this point, I cannot recommended At Your Service to others, at least not for any issue that may be complicated. I will begin my search for another company that will be able to diagnose and resolve the issue. UPDATE: 1/31/22, AYS informed me that they stand by their work and are committed to quality work. To that end, they dispatched another technician, Daniel, to take a third look. Danny, like Seth and Mike, was professional and thorough. He concluded that the issue was the thermostat. We had already purchased a new thermostat so we installed it ourselves and while the new thermostat did not go blank, there is still NO HEAT. Before, there was no sound out of the furnace once the thermostat went blank. Now, the thermostat is on and the furnace can be heard running (see posted video)but there is no heat. I really do appreciate the service of AYS and after three earnest attempts I'm not sure what more they can do. I'll update this post when a solution is found in hopes that it can benefit others with the same difficult issue. -Christine
