If I were just rating the service tech, then this would be an easy review - he was amazing. 6 out of 5! More than happy to explain everything with the job to my 10 year old son, answering all his questions, even getting him to help. And yes - the job was done quickly, well, and professionally. He clearly took a lot of pride in what he did. The price was a little higher than I was expecting, but I get that’s a reality that we don’t like to face. The one negative was that they originally came on the Monday to check out what needed to be done - and then didn’t phone me back to sort out when they’d come to do the job - thankfully when I called them they were able to fit me in the next day, so it all worked out!

they showed up promptly, looked at my water heater which i had already drained and disconnected, after purchasing a new heater and expansion tank. All I needed was for them to swap out the old for the new. They're bid was ridiculously high, over 2g and again I had already bought the tank and had it there. 2 other plumbing companies both quoted half of that amount after explaining over the phone what was needed....so I feel Apollo plumbing was twice the price of what most plumbers would charge and therefore was a waste of time, which by the way cost me 100 dollars for them to even come out and give an estimate. I will definitely never call them again.
Response from the owner
The bid was for a water heater but more importantly it was to replace the black iron. Black iron used on any potable water system is incredibly dangerous and will lead to lead poisoning. I don't know if you had anyone else come look at the water heater before they gave you quotes but any plumber that works on that system will have to replace that black iron to bring it up to code. Black iron is used for gas lines and should never be attached to a potable water system. We were able to get out the rental house within 30 minutes of calling and were prepared to replace the water heater and the pipes. More than anything, I hope you are able to get someone out quickly to replace that black iron due to the severe health risks.

They did work for my Mother. I called them about the $6000 bill (which they said she agreed to) and gave her a $300. discount for being a Senior (82) and to this day will not break the bill down to products and labor. For the three separate jobs they billed for, which was 5 1/2 hours total with two guys changing a bathroom toilet, bathroom sink and plumbing below, kitchen sink and plumbing below and testing their work. Make your own judgements.
