I recently had a plumbing inspector who recommended a few updates in my plumbing system that were “easy-to-do”. I attempted to make the update on my own and after $50 worth of parts, my setup was leaking and I threw in the towel! I called around for a plumber to redo what I did and setup properly. Ameriserve Inc. was the only local plumber that actually picked up the phone and did not go to a answering machine. Since it wasn’t an emergency they sent a plumber the next morning. Sergio, arrived on time and within thirty minutes rectified what I did and updated my plumbing to what was recommended. Sergio was very professional and I am very pleased with the result. The only con was the price for the update. Based on the parts (no more than $70 worth for the ball valve and pipe) and labor, the average cost for this job should not have exceeded $250. I ended up paying $418 and that was with a $50 coupon! I am giving the five stars for the prompt service, performed work and professionalism. Price wise, what a hit 🤦🏻‍♂️.

I hired this company to do a routine oil boiler cleaning and service. When they arrived, I led them to the basement and allowed them to do their maintenance. Shortly after, I was told that I needed a new nozzle which when shown to me appeared brand new, but I tried not to question their judgement. They advised me that they did not have my nozzle in stock and had to go find one at the hardware store. Half an hour later, they returned and did not show me the new part purchased and when I asked if they found the part, I was told yes as they went back down. Once the nozzle was installed, the boiler was put back together and then I was told that my boiler had no oil. I questioned them and they assured me that there was no oil. I called my oil company and was told that I have at least 150 gallons left in my tank. The technicians then got my boiler fired up by "force feeding" oil into it, and then pointed my attention to the mortar on the wall used to seal around the pipe for the exhaust. I was told it had a small crack around it which I looked at myself and verified that there was no crack. The mortar simply set that way and it was fine. The technician then went on to say that it would be $100 to repair right now if I would like it to be fixed. I kindly said no thank you and signed my paperwork before they finished and left. I was not impressed at their quality work for the $399 they charged me for my routine cleaning and the fact that they were trying to upcharge me on other services was not appreciated. I will not be using their services again. My boiler is only 6 years old and serviced routinely with no past problems.

      Response from the owner

I apologies for not working up to your expectation. Replacing the oil nozzle is part of the service , and should be done each year with annual service. You had a 60/60A oil nozzle which is not a common size, therefore we did not have it on the truck and had to run for it.. You are right, we could of put the old nozzle back in and no one would of known better (until you heat goes out in the middle of winter). So I'm pleased the Technician chose to go get a new nozzle instead of cheating you on the service. Our techs are very good at what they do and we train them to check everything and to be very detail. Something simple missed during the inspection could put you and your loved ones in real personal danger. Looking at your inspection sheet and the time taken to make sure your system is safe for the winter I am happy with the work that was done at your home/

Got a new water heater. They did a thorough job. The technician stayed longer than planned to make sure the job was done right. I appreciate that kind of care.
