  My kitchen sink and bathroom toilet were leaking. I was charged $125 for 15 minutes of his time just to be told that I had a crack in my toilet and needed to buy a new one. He tightened a connection on the kitchen sink as well and said it was fixed. Two days later, my kitchen sink is leaking again...but worse. I called him and he said he could come back for $175 and use a "fancy" drain cleaner. $300 for something that should have been fixed the FIRST TIME. The business card says he is a MASTER PLUMBER....I will not be taken advantage of...spread the word.

  Dishonest and unprofessional. After Allen came to repair a leak from the bathroom, the door no longer closed, the newly installed shower broke and the leak started up again within 6 months. When I called him to come take a look at the problems, he avoided my calls, eventually calling me a liar and saying the problems weren't happening (despite never checking out out the problems).

  Basically this place is the worst at communicating. First experience, our furnace died. Someone from Allens comes out and takes three hrs to fix the issue while I am at work. My wife says he took 3 hrs to locate the issue, replaced a part in two mins, then took another hr to verify that he fixed the problem. Charged us the entire time for parts AND LABOR?! Nice. Then, after calling every plumber in the surrounding area, I decide Allens is the only place that can help with my low water pressure. I called for a quote. I was told they would call back. After a bit of miscommunication between their phone operator and Allen, I never did receive a call back. So I called them. After about a week...again, I'm told they will get right back to me. Again, no call. So I call back the next day and am told again, they will get back to me. I now hear that they have had my home confused with some other home because they described my furnaces issue and design, even though it was completely not my furnace. At all. I DO NOT AT ALL RECOMMEND this place.
