  They have the best service, been having furnace issues. They were quick to get to it! The tech was so very nice. Sometimes they are even willing to work with people on the bill, they know most people can't just drop a bunch of money, they are so very understanding!! I will definitely be using them again, you will not disappointed with them!!

  Absolutely would recommend! The crew from Alaska Best Plumbing & Heating installed a EK System 2000 when my old cast iron boiler was on its way out. They were very responsive, professional, and downright honest from the very beginning starting with the at home consultation. They did not try to nickel and dime me and new exactly what was right for me and my family. Installation was quick, convenient, and done with the highest quality. I am extremely satisfied with the new boiler and look forward to doing business with them again.

  I wish I had read the reviews on Yelp instead of here before I contacted this business. Horrible experience with this business, the Alaska Worst Plumbing! What happened here was a guy came to my house without a confirmed appointment (he claimed he called me before he came) when only my wife was at home. The only thing he did was to make the problem worse by turning a visible leaking into an invisible one and claimed that he fixed the problem. Eventually (after a few months) I had to hire a licensed engineer to inspect the house and cost me more than $400 to replaced the whole unit, in addition to the $130 this worst company charged and material they purchased ($2.95 on the receipt but charged $19.99). I filed a complaint to Bureau of Consumer Protection. Update: This worst company lied again. See attached photo. Are you going to deny again?

  This is Sandra, I am the manager of Alaska Best Plumbing and Heating. I have looked over your review and checked our database, I found no one with the last name of Shane, or the first name with a job that matches your description. I do not want to discount your experience, and if this is a problem caused by us, I want to address it. However there are a few red flags in your post. First, our policy has always been that we do not show up at a customer's house without a phone call confirming that the customer is home. Second, our rate has been $130 per hour for many years, so the amount of $130 does not make sense. Third, our mark up on parts is no where near the amount you claim on the part, $19.95 for a part costing $2.95 is incredibly excessive. Lastly, your review is almost word for word the same as a yelp one under a different name from 5 years ago. Please call our office at 907-455-6506 so that we can investigate this and make things right if needed.
