  Very responsive & quality work! We have been with them for years and although they have grown since they have first started their quality & customer satisfaction still has "small town values." We appreciate ADK Technical Services and look forward to using them for many more years to come.

  We used Adirondack Technical Services for routine maintenance in a residential setting and I cannot, in any way, shape or form recommend this business. 1. They told us our system needed almost $1000 in upgrades and repairs and that our pipes would freeze unless they added $100's of anti-freeze, which seemed off, because we have it serviced every year. Thankfully we decided to have another contractor look at it and it he fixed two minor issues for 1/5 of the cost they quoted us. 2. They first told us we needed about $400 in repairs, and when it came time to schedule these repairs they said they wouldn't do the job unless we also fixed some other stuff, because the job was too small for them otherwise. When we refused to do the additional stuff they all of a sudden said these additional things weren't actually optional, but absolutely necessary and our system would freeze otherwise and ruin our entire furnace. Again, so glad we called another contractor instead of following their "expert advice". 3. When we declined the additional upgrades that were optional at first and then an absolute necessity, they tried to play my husband and I against each other - calling him to tell him that his wife didn't understand the whole HVAC system and couldn't possibly decline the repairs, surely he would understand and authorize the repairs. No thank you, we'd rather take our business someplace that is less rude. All in all, please look elsewhere if you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to fix your residential/private HVAC system. When I confronted them about their shady tactics they said they specialize in commercial HVAC, and when asked why they even took the job if they don't usually do residential they just said "we didn't realize it was such a small job". STAY AWAY from these people unless you're a commercial customer and have lots of money and don't mind getting ripped off.

  From call to completion Darrick and staff have been courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. We have used them for years and by far this is one of the best small businesses around!
