  Trying to finish up a house build. Initial visit was good. The work date kept slipping due to Action's "higher priority" jobs. They finally came out one day, worked about 4 hours, promised to come back the next day to finish. Never came back or called to say why. After waiting several weeks, I called to get the bill for what they'd done and was shocked at the price (it was about double what I expected). Asked for detailed breakdown and all I got was a labor charge and parts charge, with no further details. I've paid them, and they get a lifelong bad recommendation from me for their efforts.

  After trying to get my water softener installed by another source, I called Action. They gave me an estimate and a starting time that was well within what I had been quoted by the other source. Action did the job as promised and worked with me on learning how to to operate it. They will be the first one I call when I have any additional plumbing needs.

  A warranty was given to me when I bought my house. Warranty place called this company to see if they wanted to service my claim. They, the company, said yes. This is despite knowing the distance they are from me. Rather than calling and setting up an appt they just said they'd call me on a Monday and I asked for them to call me at 8am. They decided to wait until 11, after I was about to leave to take care of some stuff. When I expressed my frustration at their seemingly lack of poor coordination I was called rude and the lady said a tech would be out in an hour and a half and she hung up. Let's hope their plumbers are better at their job than their service representative.
