10/31/2016 It got cold Friday night. I turned on my brand new Ruud furnace (installed July 2016, but never used) - nothing happened. I called Acme/Ace and Heather informed me Tom was installing out of town and couldn't fix my unit. Heather has knowledge of the system and helped me by phone for over an hour - but couldn't get it started. She called again Saturday and for over an hour had me try EVERYTHING but nothing worked. Tom was at my house, first thing Monday morning and worked for an hour. Tom discovered some kid dropped wood chips down the PVC intake pipe, completely clogging it and rendering the furnace inoperable. Tom cleaned it out and VROOM! the furnace started and works great. Better news - Tom didn't charge us, even after all that work......THANKS ACME! Less »
