Despite Justin's best efforts today to provide me with value and time, I'm unfortunately awarding Absolute Plumbing with one star. This company was contracted through my home warranty company (a trend I saw in many bad reviews). I received no phone call the day I placed the claim to confirm an appointment. When I called, I got a voicemail and no response. It took a call from my home warranty company to get a response from Justin, who falsely claimed he had tried to call me. That much I was willing to look passed. It took a couple days for them to send someone to service the leak in my faucet. Matthew came out and did not wear is mask over his nose while on my property. He claimed the faucet needed a new cartridge, and ran to the store to get one. He came back and claimed they did not carry my cartridge and it would be a week or more before they could get the part in to fix my leak. This of course while my faucet is a literal waterfall wasting gallons upon gallons of water. I called my home warranty company and asked if they could expedite the process or find another contractor. Justin was able to expedite the order, but was not able to arrive until Tuesday, several days after their initial visit. Over the weekend I had my friend check the Plumber's work. He said both front and back cartridges in my faucet were bad. The front piece was super common and we could get from the hardware store, the back piece however was a little less common. So I assumed it was the back piece that they needed to order in. Upon arriving Tuesday, Justin was extremely friendly, and thoughtful about his candor. However, after accessing the faucet, he determined that the piece they brought in was infact the common one that every hardware store in town had in stock, and he did not order the less common back piece. He left for about an hour and ran to the store, only to arrive back with the uncommon piece in hand and fixed my faucet. I'm pleased with the end result of a fixed faucet, however the fact that he was able to just run to the store and get what he needed boggles my mind. How come they couldn't do that several days ago? Why did they need to order an extremely common cartridge that every hardware store in town has? It just strikes me as somewhat of a rookie mistake and now I've wasted gallons of water that will cost me a small fortune. Next time I work with Absolute, I will request Justin and only Justin, as it appears he may be the only one who knows what he's doing. I will only work with absolute until my home warranty runs out, and then I will definitely be seeking a new plumber if I don't see improvement. Hoping I won't need another plumber any time soon.

Hello, The part that was ordered, was the uncommon part, and the part retrieved from the store was the common part. So, the time you waited, regrettable as it was, was the fastest we could get it done. If you'd like proof, I could provide email information on that. I do apologize for the Tech not wearing a mask. They are supplied masks, and should wear them if requested. We will address that internally, thank you for that feedback. I also apologize for the issues with communication. We are in the middle of switching phone companies, and that has caused us a few hiccups that we hope to address. We appreciate your feedback, and we will strive to improve our processes, so that others don't have as frustrating of an experience as you did. If you have any further issues or comments, you can reach us at our email of [email protected].

Excellent customer service and attention to detail. He came in assessed the issues and explained what work would need to be done. Once he got started he was kind enough to answer my additional questions with respect and courtesy. I would definitely have them come in and work on any future issues.

Doesn't deserve a single star. My property had some minor issues that needed some servicing: leaky faucet, toilet that was running, and a leak around the garbage disposal. After charging me $75, Justin showed up at my rental, took a look around, and told my tenant that he couldn't fix anything. I had to be at work so I couldn't be there. I had texted him and additionally asked my tenant to ask him to call me at work to explain why the problems can/cannot be fixed. After getting no response from him, I left 2 text messages and a voice message, all unanswered. Highly recommend not using this company.

    Response from the owner

Hi Ren, I am so sorry to hear about your negative experience. Unfortunately, when doing contract work through home warranty companies, we can be caught as the middle-man and we are at the mercy of the warranty company and their guidelines. However, we would still like to find a solution or offer another recommendation to solve the issue at hand. As for the lack of response, we have streamlined our telecommunications down to one phone number and one email. Thank you for your feedback so we can work to improve our company. Sincerely, Bekah Office assistant
