Amateurs; dragged out their repairs and did a horrible job. They replaced an antique radiator and just left it, so that I had to break it apart and scrap it myself. There’s a slow leak on the connection to the one they replaced it with. They also installed an overflow tank for our boiler system that is just suspended from copper piping.

I’m sorry but we do not have a “ kevin Beck” as a customer and we have not done radiator work since the winter you may have the wrong company possibly ?????if not please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to come back out and make everything to your liking

They came in gave me an estimate, waited for them to call back ended up calling them back made appt.  They came Thursday went straight to work fixing leaking hot water tank and septic, I live in mobile home, very professional.  Will post how job went.  They finished up work,  not everything on list but fixed it anyways thanks Cost

AF Cost & Sons was referred to me from a Home Warranty company after  another company was disappointing.
AF Cost was timely, informative, and professional from back office to repairmen sent to fix/replace my main home sewer line.

I’ve exclusively used Cost & Sons for years now at both my personal home and at my rental properties.

They do a great job on big installs, on small repairs, and everything in between.  Last month, I had them install several new high efficiency furnaces; they worked fast, the job was clean, and the price was great!  Last night, I had a sewer clog in a basement...and this morning they had it unclogged and cleaned up ASAP.

You won’t find a better plumbing or HVAC company in Pittsburgh.

AF Cost & Sons comes highly recommended. My furnace wouldn't kick on so I called them and they were out the same day to take care of me. Very fast and professional. Jason was sent to my house and spent about 1.5 hours with me into the evening making sure I understood everything about the situation and patiently answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was very satisfied and I would recommend them to anyone. And their pricing was better than than the bids I requested from a couple of other places. Thank you!

Kristopher Coleman was very professional and polite. He explained what he would be doing. I would be happy to have him repair any of my appliances.

Had an appointment window of 4 hours, they didn't show up or call to update. I called multiple times for updates and was told they were "on their way soon" but no one ever showed up. They closed without calling to tell me they couldn't make it and never rescheduled. I'd stay away from them as much as humanly possible.

I can not express enough how amazing this company is. I have been going through the worst time with EBG Properties (stay away), as I just moved into one of their properties. A.F. Has been working feverishly on my behalf to fix the issues and are extremely responsive. Shelby in the office is beyond kind, and is a gem! This company is better than both the property company, and utilities company! I highly recommend them!

Our AC wasn’t working so we called our home warranty company who sent out AF Cost & Sons to check everything out. They were able to Identify that our AC would need replaced after trying to fix it earlier in the year but was unsuccessful because of a leak in the line. They ended up replacing the furnace as well due to the leak rusting our furnace. This was incredibly helpful and saved us time and money for having to have someone come back later to replace the furnace too. They stayed as long as it took to complete the job and made sure everything was fixed as soon as possible. Would recommend them as they did a great job with all the curve balls our home warranty threw them!

Bruce is rude, no customer service skills at all. My pipes are making a noise and he is a master plumber and says he has no idea why they are making this noise. Wow. Just wow. Don't use them. Will go elsewhere.

To add since the owner wants to make smart comments. No one asked anyone to lie. My warrenty company said they would replace an old water heater and you people keep telling me you won't replace it, because you simply don't want to. A plumber with thirty some years experience should know why water pipes are humming. To not know makes me question the ability of your technicians. I'm shocked this is the first time he's had a bad review. The first time you people were supposed to come here you blew me off. Have a great day!

Im sorry you feel this way , Bruce has been with AF Cost for 13 years this is his first negative review , your home warranty will not allow us to lie about your water heater and say it needs replaced when it doesn’t , We are sorry you had a bad experience we wish you the best
