During this recent freeze our pipe busted and flooded our home. Mr. Alonso came and fixed the pipe. He did a great job. He even went next door and did the same for our neighbor. He stayed in contact with us to let us know he was on his way and everything. We were very pleased!!!

We have used CalTex for several plumbing issues in our new house including fixing old valves and replacing our old water heater with a new tankless one. They have come quickly and on time, the prices are reasonable, and the quality of the work has been excellent. They are my first call for plumbing related work.

Mr. Alonzo with Cal-Tex plumbing was very professional and did an excellent job replacing 2 toilets in my home.  He seems very honest and did an awesome job for us, for a good price. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and will definitely use this company again.

Our tankless water heater had stopped working, so, I went on Cal-Tex Plumbing website in early evening, describing problem we were having with no hot water. Alonzo promptly acknowledged and answered my message to my email that same evening. The next morning we spoke and he said he would call me when he was on his way. He duly phoned me back advising they were on their way.
In diagnosing the problem with our tankless water heater, he spoke with the manufacturer's technicians, while working. Luckily for us he had spare parts on his truck (which got us out of having no hot water over the weekend right before Christmas!!).
At all times Alonzo was very professional, keeping me fully informed. He was extremely polite and courteous, and well presented. It was a pleasure doing business with this gentleman, assisted by his well-mannered son. I fully recommend Alonzo for all plumbing work, considering his businesslike attitude.
5-stars without hesitation. FYI - I have a several decade background of working in key client service positions.

I can’t say enough good things about Cal-Tex, and the owner Alonzo. I originally had Abacus out for a quote on a kitchen faucet replacement, and they quoted me a ridiculous $350 (hardware provided!). So I got in touch with Cal-Tex instead and paid less than half. Alonzo was extremely professional, spent extra time I expected to be charged for (I wasn’t!), and even offered to come back and replace an inferior part I had provided with a better version — at no extra charge! I had a really hard time finding a trustworthy, honest plumbing service and can only say I’ll be a fan for life! They came through in every possible way. Quality service, done quickly and at a very reasonable price. Even went above and beyond! It just doesn’t get any better. Highly recommended!
Also, people (competitors) need to quit leaving fake reviews on here (how unprofessional!) and trying to damage Alonzo’s business. Step up your own game and you won’t have to worry about him taking your clients! The disparity between excellent, true customer review and the fake, hateful kind by competitors is just way too obvious! Even on their worst day, Cal-Tex couldn’t deserve a 1-star review. That is NOT how Alonzo does business! Most trust-worthy home service provider I have ever encountered! And that’s coming from a REAL customer.

Extremely professional and will certainly use CAL-TEX again! Alonzo is very reliable, knows his stuff and cares about the quality of his work. 100% recommend!
