I am so pleased with Roto Rooter. Joe was wonderful the first day and Nicole was phenomenal. I could not be happier with their communication skills and their ability to explain things to me. Nicole went above and beyond to fix my leak in the most difficult position in the ceiling!!! Certainly will use them again and would recommend to everyone!

21yo water heater began leaking and it needed to be replaced.  Within 2 hours Dave Mcendree showed up.  He was very kind and professional. His quote was fair and reasonable.  $2k less than competitors. He installed two new water heaters in less than three hours.  His clean up was also great.
Very satisfied with Roto and Dave.  Highly recommend.

Seth Cline came out today to unclog our shower drain. He was very professional and efficient in ensuring there was no water damage as a result of the clog throughout the house. I would recommend using their services.

Horribly frustrating experience. Do not use this company.

I called to schedule a drain cleanout. They told me they would send a guy out between 2 PM and 6 PM, and that he would give me a courtesy call thirty minutes or so before he arrived. Fair enough.

I finally got a call around 5:30 PM from a number with a Chicago area code. Unfortunately, I missed it, and whoever called didn't leave a voicemail. So I immediately called the number back to make sure it was Roto-Rooter and the guy was on his way. But, rather than the technician, I got a Roto-Rooter automated menu. I had to work my way through that to reach a live operator. The operator couldn't help me, but he offered to connect me with a dispatcher who could. After spending several minutes on hold, the operator returned to the line to tell me that all of Roto-Rooter's dispatchers were busy and that one would have to give me a call back. Alright. Back to square one.

Ten more minutes went by, still no call back. And this, I suppose, was where I committed my great sin: I went to help my one-year old daughter with something when I should have remained glued to my phone indefinitely. I missed the dispatcher's call back. Lesson learned.

Thankfully, this time the dispatcher -- named "Thomas" -- left a voicemail, including an 800 number that I could call back. I called it. But Thomas didn't answer. Instead, it was a woman. She collected my identifying information so that she could locate my work order and figure out what in the world was going on with my technician (who still had not arrived), only to tell me that (surprise!) I wasn't in the system at all. We were both confused by this. Another minute of digging, however, uncovered the problem. Thomas had -- for reasons unknown -- given me the number of the Roto-Rooter location in Canton (two hours away), and not the one in Delaware. The woman gave me the Delaware location's number (which, in case you were wondering, was not the number listed above).

I called the Delaware number and finally reached Thomas. It was now well after 6 PM. He told me that my technician was still at another job, but that he would head my way as soon as he was finished, and that he would give me a call when he was en route. Back, again, to square one.

It is nearly 10 PM as I write this. No technician has ever called. No technician has ever arrived.

They came into my house granted it was on the short notice but 5 hours and $700 later their technician leaves tells me there is nothing else he can do for me and that to have a nice day I end up having to call another third party company to come out who fixes the problem within an hour and a half. The roto rooter technician told me he wasn't gonna sit on the clock . Very disappointed and dissatisfied as I feel he milked the clock, stated he was going to "heat the pipes" having not brought in any tools for that

He did them more that what I thought he could give me or willing to give me. He gave me a product of a smart brain. He looked at the situation like an old detective and said holy … that is a lot of water. You got a pen? Write this phone number and call the city.

Here is the brain at work part. I asked him, how do you know it is the city? He said, it did not rain last night, therefore that water does not come from the rain. There, I was amused of the brain at work. I am a space engineer and a scientist at Battelle, the analysis he gave me was complete and quick and highly professional and understandable. Thank you very much for sharing your brain with me.

Seth was very professional and persistent with getting my issue resolved before leaving. I would have been in a situation where I couldnt shower or even flush my toilets if he didnt fix the issue. He showed up a little faster than I was expecting and got me squared away. I would like Roto-Rooter to send Seth everytime I have any issues with my plumbing. I wish I could give him more stars than 5. Thank you!!!!
