  I find it suspicious that this company has as many positive reviews as it does. I will NEVER use this company again and as result of my interaction with them have become very wary of all service providers. Be very careful of who you let work on your home and meticulously document all interactions with service providers. Don't think you can fight these companies, they have the resources to steamroll a homeowner and that is a terrible feeling.

  Consumer Beware: Local Repair Company and Questionable Rates. I recently had Roto-Rooter, Ruckersville, Va., come in to repair leaky bathroom faucets. Instead of fixing them, the tech said it was best to replace them all, charged us $70 for the visit, and left with nothing fixed. The tech gave us an inflated estimate to replace four lavatory faucets. The price for this work will start at $500.00 to $600.00 labor. Additionally, we were to provide the faucets. The house was built in 2014 and everything is still new in condition. A little miffed, I figure I'll do it myself! So, I googled how to fix leaky Moen faucets and learned that they have a cartridge that you remove, replace it with a new one and the repair is complete. Eight cartridges for all the faucets in the house only cost $67.00 (from Amazon) and about 15 minutes of labor. I wanted to share this experience because I learned a new skill that saved tons of $$$$.

  I had an emergency with my water heater leaking. I called the Charlottesville area Roto Rooter number and they came out within twenty minutes to diagnose the problem. By 5:00 PM I had a brand new water heater installed and working perfectly. The plumber that came was very professional. I would recommend Roto Rooter to all of my friends and family.
